What it does
- Answers your number. Keep the number you have and forward it, or take a new one from us.
- Knows your business. Upload your price list, your hours, your service area. It answers from those, and says it doesn't know rather than guessing.
- Captures the job. Name, callback number, and whatever else you tell it to ask. Delivered as soon as the call ends.
- Transfers when it matters. Urgent calls reach a person; everything else becomes a message.
- Keeps its own hours. Different behaviour after hours, on weekends, and on the days you're closed.

Calls to a toll-free number draw minutes at 1.25× a local call, because they cost us more. You're told before you take one, and every call's length and the minutes it used are on your call log.
How the minutes work
Your plan includes 500 minutes each month. You buy more only if you want them, and you buy them before they're used — there is no overage bill at the end of the month. If you run out, the receptionist keeps answering and takes a message instead of holding a conversation, so a caller is never met with silence. We email you at 80% and again at 95%.
Who it's for
Small businesses that lose work to a ringing phone: trades, clinics, home services, anyone whose next customer calls once and then calls someone else. It is not a call centre and it doesn't pretend to be a person — it says it's an assistant.
