Terms & refunds

The service

VoxPerch answers telephone calls to numbers you assign to it, using an automated assistant configured from information you give us, and delivers the details it captures to destinations you choose. The assistant identifies itself as an assistant. It is not a person and is not a substitute for emergency services.

Billing

• The plan is billed monthly in advance to the card you keep on file, starting the day you activate.
• Talk minutes are prepaid. Your plan includes an allowance each month; beyond that you buy packs in advance. We never bill you for usage after the fact.
• Included minutes are granted at the start of each billing month and do not roll over. Minutes you have bought do not expire.
• Optional extras, such as additional phone numbers, are billed monthly and prorated from the day they start.
• Prices may change with 30 days' notice by email. A price you are already paying for an add-on does not change while you hold it.

Cancelling

You can cancel at any time from your dashboard or by emailing support@voxperch.com. Service continues to the end of the month you have already paid for, and you are not billed again. We hold any phone number we bought for you for 30 days after that, so you have time to move it, and then we give it up.

Refunds

• Monthly plan: cancel any time. The month in progress is not refunded, and service runs to the end of it.
• Minute packs: refundable in full within 14 days of purchase if you have not spent any of that pack. Partly used packs are not refundable, and unused minutes do not expire, so there is no need to use them in a hurry.
• Something went wrong: if the service didn't do what we said it would, email us. We would rather refund you than argue about it.

Your data

Call recordings and transcripts are kept for the window you choose in your dashboard and then deleted. What we collect and how long we keep it is set out in the privacy policy. You can export your call log at any time, and you can ask us to delete your account's data.

Acceptable use

You are responsible for the lawfulness of the calls and messages made through your account, including consent for any voicemail campaigns you send and compliance with telemarketing rules where your recipients live. We may suspend an account that puts the service, its other clients, or our carriers at risk.
